I have a pretty small room 10x11x10 and want to buy some Stratas... I have the Onix SP3, you guys think it will have enough guts to power them up to moderate volumes?

First off, welcome to AH. You’ll find many intelligent members here who can help you in many ways, far and beyond that of simple audio. Then there’s me. I’m the clown around these parts. But I do own a pair of Mini Strata’s. You don’t need a whole lot of power to drive these. They have their own built in plate amps to drive the woofers and they don’t have many dips in resistance. Overall, they are a very easy to drive speaker. Many are driving them with the Onix SP3 and love the sound. The Mini’s are truly a great speaker as long as you don’t want ear splitting levels.
That said, you do know that the maker has gone belly up right? It will be next to impossible to find any replacement components should anything go wrong with them.
Good luck either way.

Thanks! Yeah, ive been following AV123 for many years, I bought my SP3/Ref1 combo from them a long time ago. Im glad to hear that about the SP3/Stratas... now the challenge is finding a pair that is reasonable to ship to Mesa Az. Has not been an easy task so far...
