I know I'm not a pro.... But I think I got some good shots...

Shot with my D7000 with 18-85 VR lens...
Would have been nice to have a bigger zoom lens - been looking at the 28 mm - 300 mm - F/3.5-5.6 - Nikon F

The B-1 is awesome...and that's the biggest effing seagull I've ever seen.

Kinda pissed, last year they had the F-22 Raptor doing all sorts of fun stuff with those vectoring nozzles - tail standers and tail sliders are really cool.....
But they didn't bring that bad boy this year....

A couple of weeks ago, my dad got to see the F-22 at an airshow in central Illinois. That was the first time that he'd seen one in person, and I'm jealous because I've still never seen one. That was also the first time that he saw a B-1 flying, so he was pretty jazzed.

Thanks Me too..... I took those while we were waiting in the Marina for the last people to show up.... All the masts in the way ended up kinda cool...

Nice posts, thanks.....love B1s, I was lucky to see one up close in the last airshow they had at Homestead Air Reserve Base, they had a B-2 do a couple of fly-bys.... unbelievable, you don't know that it's coming till it's right on top of you!

Also saw up close F117 stealth light bomber (I refuse to call it a fighter).......which is great since it has been decommissioned.

You shot these on Saturday, right? Was that smaller boat lashed to the starboard side when you went from the marina to the other side, closer to the Art Museum? I was close to the end of the strip of land, on my bicycle. I didn't want to deal with parking or traffic (which wasn't really bad), so I parked on Linnwood and rode down there. Did they have any A-10 Warthogs? I thought they were going to, but I did see the B-1B when it was out.

Yes that was us....

LOL, the Military Whaler 19' Guardian gets used as a water taxi on those excursions - it gets quite the looks.... Was a fun project boat to put together, just unsinkable and indestructible... It can easily handle 10ft swells if you can rebuilt from the ground up started with a bare hull.

Yeah - they sure seem to hype up that event in the pictures on the website... No warthog - one of my all time favorite planes, they brought out coast guard Eurocopter HH-65 Dolphin, but it flew so low by the beach I could really get any good shots of it...

The B1B is one of the loudest things I've ever heard. I used to work about a block from the local airbase and got buzzed by one. The B1 was just taking off and literally shook my car as it passed over. Freaking awesome
