Military Shows

When I was a kid, we took field trips to an Aircraft Carrier and Submarine here in Massachusetts; they were older ships I believe, but still interesting to visit. Does the military still do this sort of thing?

I know Andrews Air Force Base near me did a Joint Service Open House until this year (budget cuts). I've gone several times, and it's a neat experience. Hopefully it returns before too long.

Fleet Week is in October here. I haven't gone in a few years. It is always fun because we have the ships and an air show over the SF bay.

Someone told me about Battleship Cove here in Massachusetts which is supposed to be good so might check that out.
