I used to have a set of Pioneer speakers that looked very close to your Fisher speakers. Had the huge 15" woofs. Sounded quite good for the price.
I have to say the little Polk RT7s gave them a run for the money. ;) Nice lookin' system there too.

How do you have the main speakers wired? Are you running both the Fisher AND the KLH at the same time in parallel (I'm guessing the Fishers are for stereo music only or something)?

Thanks Polkfan. You have a nice system yourself.

Hawke, My Sony Receiver has an A/B speaker selector switch. So I have the Fishers hooked up to the A plugs and the KLHs to the B plugs. Sometimes I use the Fisher speakers to listen to movies but most of the time I just use them when I listen to music on the radio or a CD.

i also tried the a+b selection

yes, i also tried doing that. the only different is i put 32inch tall towers on top of like 25inch tall poineer box speakers. all i can say is that the soundstage was better then the room, and the punch the system had was very nice.
