Not a family film ... that really needed to be said right away. Somebody recently said that
Red had more gunshots than any other movie he had ever seen. This film was like that but with boobs. I think the video quality on this was great ... outstanding really.
The audio was well done too and by that I mean that as a condo dweller I wasn't forced to jockey the remote volume button acting like a dynamic range compression option. I really liked that. Also the movie is basically a narration so the dialog being easily understood counted.
Luke Wilson pulls off being a mildly flawed, down to earth central character very well. The supporting cast also does great work. Giovani Ribisi (sp) has never played a role poorly that I'm aware of and the constantly used stereotyped Russian bad guy is pretty much a must for certain parts.
I recognized a couple of Doby tunes off his
Play album.
I just like being able to do that ... yep, I'm bragging.
Beyond all the T&A this is a solid movie. Funny but not goofy.
Rent worthy even if you're not into women.
