Mid Ship Mount for Woofer in Bookshelf Speakers

Does anybody know of other bookshelf speakers having Mid-Ship mounted woofers? I still have the Pioneer S-701 set I bought in 1988 and it's still going strong. Love the beryllium ribbon tweeters too!

Look at the basket on that thing...most decent drivers have MUCH more stout baskets than that and don't really need additional support.
