It seems to be quite serious condition..... Michael Schumacher was brought to hospital in coma, since then condition has been getting worse and it's been reported that he is approaching a life-threatening situation

Now it's time for Michael to show his fighting instincts and get well !

They have him in a medically induced coma. It seems he has severe head trauma. Doesn't look good.

Get well Shumy. You know this is not the way you want to leave this world.

I probably wouldn't have watched Formula 1 if it wasn't for Michael Schumacher

Mr Schumacher has a lot of friends in Norway where he spent a lot of time and won many close friends by being just the really nice guy he is, He has been a lot in Trysil area in winter doing skiing, as fas as I know, Mr Schumacher has been a keen "Nybergsund" supporter (local soccer team from Trysil area) for a long time.

I pray for your recovery Michael Schumacher !!

Been following this one as much as I can. Very sad indeed and it does not sound good. Had to be pretty signficant since they said he was wearing a helmet and still suffered serious trauma.

Sounds promising that he has had some improvement after a second sugery, but still serious. That report also said that his helmet was split in two, so it was definitely not a small impact.

I was talking to my wife and telling her what I read in the news and she says even if he recovers he's most likely not going to be the same. Pretty serious stuff if they are lowering your body temp and inducing a medical coma.

This reporter that pretended to be a priest, in order to get into Michael Schumacher's room just to take pictures, shocking..... what's wrong with people?

Yes, saw that, it is ridiculous. Just to snap a picture or what? These people have no respect.

Unfortunately, that is pretty much guaranteed. When they said he had involuntary limb movement at the scene, that was already a pretty bad indicator. At the very least, he will recover and be himself even if he is not as mobile as before. Definitley don't expect to see himin an F1 car again.

I'm now, it's been said about improvement and situation stabilizing, but on the other hand that doctors are not so optimistic, wonder what's really going on now ?

I don't want to derail the thread but sometimes I just wonder where the English do have their brain....
daily mirror writes on their breaking news, site:
Live updates: Michael Schumacher spends fourth night in intensive care following skiing accident

Big news, it's another day
They may just as well write: Breaking news: it is now not yesterday but today

From what I heard.... Schumi with his passion for racing and personality made every single person in the Ferrari team feel just as important as anyone else in the team, so in a way every single guy would be the same contributing to the team victory as Rubens Barrichello or the operations director, whoever that might be. And every single member of the team was equally important to Schumi as the Ferrari F1 director........ A remarkable attitude :D

Schumi is a very very rare person and he is the most successful race driver ever because he chose to be the best and because he's just better at this than anyone else

Schumi, I really hope you will be fine. I think your friends in Trysil is looking forward to see you :p
