Micca MB42X Bookshelf Speakers might be as good as the Pioneer SP-BS22-LR or better?

Buy them and let us know - I am not going to bank on it.

Also, I would like to know the definition of slightly huge difference.:)

He was referring to the new crossover added. He also reviewed the 1st. version. I'm gonna wait and see more reviews + I don't need anymore speakers.

I know they put a crossover in it - however from what I saw, dip and bumps

Kind of hard to tell how they actually sound from a video :)

LOL. I hang my magnetic A/V-2 grilles on the side of the rack like that when I take them off.

So he kinda liked them. :)
They should sell pretty good - along with some of them bake beans.
The speakers do not look to have any real weight - if I was to buy
them, I would probably treat the cabinet walls.

Whoa--was that guy sober? Painful. And to think they actually put a crossover in the speaker. What will they think of next. For what it's worth, I recently purchased a pair of the
Pioneer 22's, and will be posting my impressions in a day or two. Believe it or not, Pioneer put a real crossover in their speakers from the get go.

Thanks, will be waiting to see your response - I have looked inside the BS22, and he put some
work into it. The older BS21 also had a real crossover - the BS21 had a brace between the woofer
and tweeter front to back - however, he did not put one in the BS22. Both speakers had limited
damping material inside.

Indeed. Mixing Bush's Maple Cured Bacon and Original recipes on the stands seems like an easily avoided rookie mistake. Of course I personally prefer B&M Bacon & Onion.

Please post where your 22's review can be seen when it's ready. Thanks Dennis

Z did you add any damping in the 22's or left as is? and if you did add how does it sound now?

I'm sure we are all interested in that. And interested if you have any ideas for cheap/easy ways to improve on that design too!

Definitely interested in hearing Dennis's thoughts on the BS22LRs.

The curious aspect about these - they look very similar to the SVS SBS-01s. in the new veneer.

I have toyed with some felt adhesive pads - however the woofer hole is small, and not
easy to get my hand in and out - plus the screws are cheap and are easy to strip. Also,
it takes a little time and patience to get what one desires. > All in all, the speaker is
better than average for its price and then some. Plus, I do prefer the modded Cambridge
S30 speakers, and higher-end speakers above them.

One day I'll get those Cambridge S30's you have had me intrigued since I've been here. Do they have a center as well?
