cripes it was a joke chill out !!
Trust me, I am chilled out.

My point is, it is not possible to determine who a poster is...so it is quite possible for someone to copycat within a thread, pretending to be another..a recent exchange in another thread being a good example.

Also, it was rather easy to produce the link to the material he requested..the least you could have done was help him, instead of just making a joke..btw, it wasn't a really good one....had it been, I would have overlooked it....

Besides, once you register, you can edit your typographical errors..since you are not registered, you aren't able to fix the typo's in your joke..

Cheers, John

PS...oh great...now I'm called an "audiophyte"...will this nightmare never end....

Haha John you just need to participate more to get your ranking up :)

We are about to add a section to this forum that I think will become your daily hang out :) In about a month I will have the most advanced LCR meter in the industry at my disposal. A staff of engineers from that company (Wayne Kerr) will be here to discuss test instrumentation stuff. I hope you and other cable lovers take advantage of this service.

As for requiring registering, I will do that if things get too out of hand. We have about 5 moderators now to ensure that doesn't happen. Requiring registering limits activity on a forum and we don't want to do that.

Service...as in they will be around to answer questions, or the meter will be available to test a cable?

And what's it's low range inductance capability, dielectric capability, and ac resistance resolution? (inquiring minds want to know..)

Yah, I know..I personally find the lack of editing to be a pita..and it also gets tiring responding to that "unregistered" guy....he seems to have multiple personalities...

Are they going to be ones with streamers or whatever there called? Like mostly black with white stripes...that kinda thing???

Also do the thicker TechFlex's have a thicker weave to them? I used the neon blue 1/4" and it was kinda thin compared to some other brand 1/2" that I got...does the TechFlex 1/2" use a thicker weave?

You can see the 1/4" weave in this picture, this was over RG-6
