I've got my sauce cooking for my lasagna tonight, kids are not fighting at this moment, the dog stopped barfing, and the wife is in a good mood! Off to a good start! Not to mention the light snow and I am not driving anywhere today.

Hey! We're also having lasagna tonight! No dog, just an old cat and the wife is doing the cooking

Afterwards we'll drive 20 minutes to our church's Christmas Eve service, and then tool around some of the nearby subdivisions gawking at the lights while playing traditional Christmas music in the car.

Heading to Mom's today, traditional deal, Spiral Ham in my oven now to take with , stuffed pork loin in Mom's oven waiting patiently , Brothers bringing two trays of smothered baked ziti. We do the Prime Rib on New Years Eve.

I honestly and whole Heartedly miss those Christmas Eves, getting to bed at around 4:00 AM just to wake up at 6 to start breakfast and get the camera ready for the pitter patter down the hallway and the endless wrapping paper, the cat chasing ribbons, the dog chewwing paper and my Son smiling forever more in my heart with his new toys and such, I MISS IT TOO MUCH NOW, getting older is great but please slow it down.

I feel lucky this morn as he is Home for Christmas this year and all is well,

Guess what! We had lasagna yesterday as well! Heading to the out-laws this afternoon for a turkey overdose.....

I hosted Thanksgiving this year, huge turkey - turned out amazingly. I usually do Christmas and for me its always primerib...... Thanksgiving is usually a big turkey at my bros house, not sure what he's got going for dinner tonight...

Either way there is always way too much great food and good drink - so nothing to worry about.... As long as its with family and friends - its a good day...
