MDesign Eleganza Divano Action Couch

I suppose this goes in this Forum, as there really isn't a segment for this kind of thing yet. Has anyone seen this couch yet? I am not sure if it was just debuted at the CES show or if it has been around for a while. I have not been able to find any in-depth reviews so far. It is a high end couch with an amp and four tactile transducers built into it. It even has controls built into a flip down cushion, and a wireless transmitter/receiver to circumvent running wires across your room. Very cool, but also a chunk o' dough.

Feel the bass

It looks cool and the controls built into for couch are nice, but for $7K!!! Also, with a 300 watt amp you probably won't feel much.

The following DIY setup would probably provide more performance:
Couch matching existing furniture $1K
Buttkicker LFE $250 x 2
Buttkicker Amp $350
Buttkicker wireless $99
Mounting brackets $100

At 2200 watts, the buttkicker amp will definately deliver more tactile LFE to your couch.

An alternate solution for 2-3K, but two SVS plus subs, or two Axiom EP-600s. You will definately feel the bass.
