Good afternoon,
Is anyone familiar or own a McIntosh MEN 220 perfect room DSP?

Well I am curious how it compares to DSP room correction software like Dirac, ARC, or Audyssey? Is it worth the cost over built in room correction in many HT AVR's?

It is actually 'Room Perfect' licensed from Lyngdorf. I can't give you any input on how it compares to other room correction software.

Thanks for your responses. I will stay with DIRAC far less expensive and comes with many new AVR's.

Well, the MEN-220 is also an active crossover. If you need that and room correction, and have all McIntosh gear, then it is awesome. I really liked what RoomPerfect did in my room. If you’re on a budget, then just get an AVR or less expensive pre-pro. If the rest of the gear is Mac, get it !!!
