Mcintosh MC-252 vs MC-452

Any opinions on which amp would be better ? MC252 is 250x2. MC452 450 x2. Also, my RF-7's are rated at 250 rms, Do you think the 452 would be too much power ? Thank you in advance!

Do you think you need more power? What are the meters hitting at moderate levels?

No. I definitely don't need more power. Wanted to know if anyone heard the difference between the two amps? And wondering if the amp may hurt the speakers?

I have the 252 now. Pondering the purchase of a new MC452

If you can play your speakers loud enough then save your money for upgrade that will make a real difference.

Yeah I didn't think There would be a big difference between the two, like Mcintosh claims.
