Hi all!! This is my very first post in the forum..so excuse the noobie.. :p

I have a set of Snell QBX15s for my fronts and Snell TypeM for my rear with a Definitive Tech bass. Question; I'm considering getting a Boston VR12 for my center..any opinions on this setup? Any special considerations or issues that might not work out with this center?

Thanks all!!

I don't think any of those speakers would be a good match for your Snells. Have you listened to these speakers? I think you're going to basically HAVE to and pick one that sounds close, otherwise I'd start shopping for a matching Snell bookshelf or center to use. In order to have a cohesive front stage, you need to have a good timbre match between the front 3 speakers.

I currently have a Bose center and yikes!! it does sounds weak, tinny and just plain lousy with the Snells, actually a Snell center was and is my first choice but I can't seem to locate one($$$), guess it'll have to be a case of "patience, my little one" and wait/search ;)
Any other suggestions on alternatives for a center?

J thanks a bunch for your reply!!
