Hello friends,
I am searching for matching bookshelf speakers for my Onkyo HT-RC160 which I recently bought.
Its has 80watts x 7 channels rated at 8 ohms.
My total budget for speakers is around 600-700 dollars including sub (if reqd)
I have really liked KEF IQ30 (pair) as found in different forums and planning to check them out whenever I get a chance.
But I have few question about the setup, answers to which I would really really wanna know before I come to any decision.
1) Since they are just two speakers I want to know whether I need to buy two pair or just one pair would be fine ?
2) Speakers are rated 15-110 watts at 8 ohms. My Receiver is rated at 80 watts-8 ohms. Do you think it would be a good marriage between them ?
2) Also do I need to add a sub-woofer with these speakers to get that good bass?
3) Also am I missing anything important while designing it? Any thoughts suggestion are more than welcome.
