Matching Front Soundstage?

Its christmas time again and im getting ready to get a few things to upgrade my theater. As of right now i have two sinclair audio brighton SB2600t's (http://www.sinclairaudio.com/products/brighton_sb2600t.html) and a polk audio CS2 in the front. Im looking to upgrade the center. Is it essential that the center speaker matches the two towers or would i be able to get away with buying a different brand for my center. I am fairly happy with my towers, but the companies products are hard to find and i cant really get my hand on a matching center. I was thinking about using this http://www.infinitysystems.com/homeaudio/product_detail.aspx?prod=BETAC360BK instead of the matching center. What do you guys think about this? Would it be worth it to search and search for the center that matches? I appreciat your input on this subject

Infinity speakers are bright and sometimes boomy. A boomy center channel, to me, is very annoying to say the least. I would look to PSB, Energy, or possibly Paradigm. The best bet would be a Sinclair in reality. It would likely be pretty reasonably priced as well.

By not using the same speaker series, you're opening yourself up to Timber problems. I've learned the hard way that, for me at least, it's just not worth the hassle. If you want to mix and match, I would say that it's absolutely essential that you find a retailer that will let you take a speaker home with you for a few days before purchasing it. If you can't find a retailer that will do that, then I would suggest that you stick with the same speaker series.

I'd run phantom until I could find ther matching center. You'll be sitting in the sweet spot anyway. The only ones to suffer would be the occasional other listeners. :)
