Amazon has a 10-inch Martin Logan Dynamo sub on sale for $325 until 1PM Eastern today. It's a Gold Box lightning deal.

I don't know how good it is, but it's gotten good reviews and seems to be at a decent discount.

In a music only system, with small form factor being important, I think many people could be very happy with that price.

For HT, it simply isn't enough. However, they really are extremely small. Obvious compromise. I mean, I might've seen bookshelves that were larger. They try admirably for the diminutive size, but there's only so much they can do. Ok, I think the only smaller sub I've seen could be the Sunfire Jr (SUPER TINY ).

Sunfire subwoofers suck, terrible for movies and music. The only thing they are good for is watching the tiny subwoofer move back and forth while producing pathetic amounts of sound.

The Dynamo was never intended for extension and sounds very good when setup correctly for music. A nice additon for bookshelves. nice find Adam

The new Dynamo line is interesting, 2 of them are wireless ready. The low model is ported and has a lesser low end capability compared to the original dynamo apparently.
