Hello !!

My system:
Front: Monitor Audio Bronze 2
Centre: Monitor Audio Bronze Centre
Surround: Monitor Audio Bronze 1
Subs: 2 SVS SB 3000
Receiver: Denon 3500H only for processor
Amp: Marantz 7055 ( 5 channel )
Arround 1000 cubic feet
I intend to use 5.2.4, at moment have 5.2

I plan to upgrade in the future, but I am in doubt about the benefit I will have in some exchange.

My trading ideas are:

A) Separate everything, use the 7705 as a processor, buy another 7055, would have 2 units of 7055 for 9 channels.

B) Use Marantz SR7013 or SR8012 or Denon 6500H for the 4 atmos + processor channels and leave the Amp 7055 for the 5 main channels.

Which of these ideas is most interesting?
What is the difference between using 7705 vs SR7013 vs 8012 vs 6500h?
Which of these 3 models is best suited for 7013 vs 8012 vs 6500h in my situation?

I remember reading somewhere that current receivers deliver + - 2v to the pre outputs, while the processors are 4v, whether or not the receiver transformer noise is injected into the pre outputs, while on the processor it doesn't. , what does it really mean in my situation?

Thanks !!

For 1000 cu ft, the best option imo is the x3500h with a fan on top. That AVR sounds great, it is transparent. The av7705+amp will only sound better if you can see which one is playing.

I missed that you wanted to go 5.2.4. in that case you only need one of the avr-x3600h, x4500h, sr6013 or sr7013. The sr8012, x6500h may look better, and made in Japan if that matters, but I would expect no audible benefits for the extra dollars.

I also think 8012 would be interesting, but I also think it would be even more interesting to see how big the impact of using 7705 is, separating things.

I say this because when I started using the 7055 I felt a dynamic and clear clarity.

I found on youtube really good reviews about 7705, i think because he was separated he can do much more.. or i`m wrong ?

You might just have expectation bias from the review. Hard to compare properly, too. The 7055 amps aren't all that much more powerful or different from those in the avrs in any case. If you don't mind spending the money one way to scratch the separates itch. I've done both (with much more powerful amps), for my purposes the avr alone is what I use now but I'm not trying to set spl records either. YMMV.

You really believe those subjective reviews? If you do then nothing we tell you can or will change your mind and you are going to have to spend money to find out. In reality though, if something sounds better to you, such as the 7055, then don't worry about what other people say, just enjoy the better sound that you heard.
