Marantz SR8500 Reviews Needed!

Does anyone have any information about the Marantz SR8500? Where can I find a professional review from a reputable source ie "Home Theater" etc? Thanks everyone.

I have also been looking for more detailed review of the 8500...

I believe Clint will be reviewing some Marantz receivers in March.
I'm also looking forward to that very much.
It seems everyone in US is more focused on Denon than Marantz,
probably because Denon equipement is better distributed
and available than Marantz in US (in constrast to situation in Europe).

Is it true that Denon took over Marantz (Marantz was former part of Philips company) ?

Yes, Denon and Marantz are one in the same now. 1100 Maplewood Drive, Itasca, Ill is their US headquarters. D&M Holdings of Tokyo owns both, along with the high end McIntosh line. How can you argue with those three brands? They also own Rio, the huge MP3 market players. Check this out...
