Marantz SR7002 question

Hello everyone.
I have my Marantz receiver connected to my projector in HDMI 1. My xbox is connected to the projector's HDMI 2 port and appears on the screen no problem. However, I cannot get any volume out of my speakers. My question is, what should I select on my receiver panel eg: AUX 1, DSS etc, as there is no HDMI option.

Well you did not state your projector and what audio outputs it has. However what you really should be doing is connecting your xbox to your receiver via HDMI and your receiver to your projector by HDMI. That is the best way to go about it.

Thanks for replying. My projector has no audio outputs. However, I put the xbox directly into the receiver, trying out all input HDMI ports, but nothing appeared on the screen. I scrolled through the various options on the display panel, AUX, DVD, etc but nothing. Any suggestions?

Well you did not state your projector and what audio outputs it has. However what you really should be doing is connecting your xbox to your receiver via HDMI and your receiver to your projector by HDMI. That is the best way to go about it.
