Marantz SR7001

Hey Guys,

I am just a bit curious, does AVR need a break in period? I am asking this because it seems that my Marantz SR6400 seems to have a greater head room than the SR7001. They sound similar but the voice on singers seem to envelop you more in the SR6400 over the SR7001.

Hence my thought that it may need a few hours of playing to develop the best sound, does that make sence?

I would check settings, make sure that the settings are the same or similar to what the SR6400 was and see if that makes a difference.

The receiver doesn't have a break in period like you would think. If it has a break-in period at all it is only a matter of seconds.
