Marantz SR5500 vs. Cambridge 540R

I've been researching receivers in the $600ish range to replace my worthless JVC unit, so far the Marantz SR5500 and the Cambridge Azure 540R look the best. If anyone has experience with either receiver or can reccomend something else, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I use my system for 60 HT/40 music and I don't plan on using any kind of external amp.

Marantz. Better warranty and excellent sound.

Sorry to be a broken record on this one, but if you live in the states and don't mind last years model, this is a $1299 receiver and will probably go for $500 give or take $100.
