Marantz SR4002 HDCD PS3 40 GB

Hello

I dont know if this post should be here or on the receiver section, pardon me.

I am not even sure if HDCD is supported on the 40 GB PS3.
I am playing the Dire straits sultans of Swing HDCD. The "HDCD" indicator does not light up.
Is there any other way of getting to know that what I am playing is HDCD?

I have set my PS3 to 44.1/88.2/... Khz firmware version 2.41.
Whats the deal with Bit mapping? anyways I have set it '3'

I read in many other forums that you need to set the output to Bitstream. I dont have this option in settings -> Music setting in XMB.
I am sure that the European version of sr4002 supports HDCD. The manual and front panel has the HDCD logo.
I have tried various setting in the receiver but the HDCD indicator does not light up.

I have never heard of anyone saying that the PS3 can do HDCD. The 40G cannot do SACD either. What connection are you using? Analog, HDMI or optical?

I use HDMI. I am able to decode Dolby and DTS via HDMI but not HDCD.
