I picked up a Marantz SR-870 for my daughter. It is being used as just a stereo receiver at the moment. The problem is that I am getting no bass from the speakers that I hook to it. It sounds a lot like there is a setting that is sending bass to the sub out, but I can't find the setting for it. I don't have a lot of experience with pre DD receivers, did they even have that ability?
Regardless, it is definitely lacking in bass output, any ideas?
