Marantz Mono block amp

Need help.

I have access to three Marantz ma500u...

My buddy has three still in the box.

anyone have any imput into these.
I am thinking of useing them for sub woofer amps

What kind of sub? I tried one of mine with my 15" and it wasn't enough, but two of them bridged probably would have worked. Solid little amps. How can he still have them in the box? They're years old already.

Ya believe it or not they are still in the boxs , sealed and all. now need to also figure out what they are worth, I have looked online havent found allot of info on them to speak of,
