$1800 and they still can't make 100 WPC/8Ohm. Yeah, I know, watts don't matter anymore. But with all of the lower sensitivity stand mount and shelf speakers that are all the rage now, this, for my personal use anyway, is just not enough power for that money. This thing would end up making me choose separate components instead.

I was going to post about this, but you beat me to it. This is a classic MBA and marketers' delight. They are fools and scoundrels the lot of them. Sure there is a place for a good integrated amp, but this adds little to the equation. Sure it does have a sub out and power amp in and out. There is no mc phono input, and no digital input at all. So if you want to add streaming then you have to buy there matching disc player or another streamer. And to top it off it uses the old dated Baxandall tone controls!

This unit is just a sap to audiophoolery and brings nothing new to the equation. If ever there was a classic marketers design including that HDAM nonsense of which there has never been a cogent explanation that makes any sense.. This could have been so much better, but it does not advance the art or bring any significant new approach to the integrated amp. The latter, I think the market is crying out for. This is a massive missed opportunity.

No, it does not, it just manages to eek out 100 watts per channel into four ohms. So it is not even a state of the art integrated amp. Avoid.

Doesn't look like very good value unless you really really like the aesthetic....
