Due to limitations in my basement (running wires), I want to know if it would worth it to purchase this amp to "push" my Klipsch rp-280 fronts and my Klipsch rc450 center. I have the denon avr-x4300 as my AVR unit. I know the Klipsch are sensitive and don't require a lot of power to push them, just wondering if the amp would be a better option power wise?? Still using the AVR for the TV and blue ray. I realize the Marantz is a 5 channel so it kinda gives me some wiggle room if I decide to add later.....any thoughts?? I'm not well versed in the audio technical area so don't be afraid to hurt my feelings, I'm just not sure if this is the best option...

You are not likely to notice any significant improvements, esp with those speakers.

Crap...we’ll that’ll save me some money that way. Any suggestions? Maybe wireless rears? Idk if you can hardwire the fronts and center, sub and use a wireless signal for the rears??

Consider the AVR-X4300H has the same power amp as the AVR-X4200W, take a look of the following graphs and you'll be judge.

2 channel continuously driven, 8 ohm loads.....................124.3 W @ 0.1% THD, 149.2 W @ 1.0% THD
2 channel continuously driven, 4 ohm loads.....................215.9 W @ 0.1% THD, 239.7 W @ 1.0% THD
5 channel continuously driven, 8 ohm loads..................... 94.6 W @ 0.1% THD, 118.0 W @ 1.0% THD

2 channel continuously driven, 8 ohm loads.....................130,7 W @ 0.1% THD, 152.8 W @ 1.0% THD
2 channel continuously driven, 4 ohm loads.....................215.8 W @ 0.1% THD, 236.4 W @ 1.0% THD
5 channel continuously driven, 8 ohm loads.....................107.8 W @ 0.1% THD, 117.8 W @ 1.0% THD

I think the MM7055 is a well designed amp, just not that powerful, marginally (=negligibly) more powerful than the Denon AVR 4000 series.

Dunno what your limitations are, but what are you using for subwoofage? Do you have one?

Doesn’t look like too much if a difference. Thanks for the info
