Marantz firmware upgrade?

In certain situations, members of the forum have mentioned an upgrade of firmware. I have had trouble playing certain dvd-a disks. Does anyonew know if my marantz player needs firmware upgrade? If so, how do i do this?

You would need to publish the model number of your player, and others here will be happy to tell you if that model has an upgrade available. You can also check the marantz site (owners club) directly to see if they're offering any upgrades for your specific model.
