Marantz errors and reset

My marantz SR8000 displays "error power2" and will not operate. I have unplugged everything from it and had it powered down for many hours. Does anyone know the reset to factory setting command is? This will be a very long week-end with-out sounds otherwise. I cannot find my manual (fool I am)...Thanks

If the link does not work go to their website go to support and then go to support by model. THe link is there for the owners manual. This should have the factory reset in it. You may also want to call Marantz support to see what that code means. The reset may not help. There could be something wrong. I hope it is under warranty.

That's the 8400 he's asking about the 8000 which is almost 4 yrs older - not sure if the reset function would be the same or not. Marantz does have a 3 year warranty standard, so there's a chance it is still under warranty. I've never seen that error, so you may want contact the dealer where you bought it or contact Marantz directly.
