Marantz and Mitsubishi Panels?

I was wondering if anyone out there knows who makes the panels found in the Marantz and Mitsubishi 50" plasmas. Also, how old are those panels. I am under the impression that they are not new, but rather a couple years old. I want to know if this is true before I invest any money into them. Thanks

I am fairly certain mits makes there own panels but I would not doubt if they are a couple of years old. They have not been placing much emphasis on them. It seems like they are throwing all of their eggs into the dlp and lcd basket.
