Hi guys,

I currently have a Denon 2312. I'm looking at upgrading to the Marantz 7703/8077 combo. There are a few small advantages to the 7703 over the 7702mkii that I prefer, though I can't recall all of them now, but I'm interested in one in particular...

My question then : Does the new 7703 have bandwidth limited room eq? I think all previous models had only full bandwidth. The way I understand it the Dirac system allows for this, which is better according the some, with whom I agree.

I asked google but couldn't get a clear answer on that specific detail. Can anyone confirm?

Going by the specs, it comes with the same Audyssey XT32/SubEQ HT that the 7702 has, so the answer would be "no". If you add the "Pro" feature to it then I guess the answer would be "maybe", but I am not familiar with MultEQ Pro. You can read about it or email them.
