Marantz 7011 and top surround speaker in Auro3D

Hi there,

Any way to remap the output assignment for top surround speaker in Auro3D mode?
Default mapping is sub 2 out.
Since i'm using 2 sub's that creates problem for me.

Denon model AVR-X6300H have option to change mapping to amplified out(SBL).
Ex. from the Denon AVR-X6300H manual

2 The Top Surround speaker can be connected to the SURROUND BACK L speaker terminal instead of the SUBWOOFER 2 PRE OUT connector. Set “Top Surr. Out” to “SURR. BACK L” in the menu. (v p. 222)

Shouldn't there be the same option in Marantz model?

Though they are owned by the same parent, that does not mean they are built in the same fabs. They will not necessarily have the same features. Whether or not they share some components or distribution, they operate as separate companies.

Well it's odd to map Top surround output to sub 2 out and not to SBL/R pre-out or at least abillity to choose.

That AVR-x6300h is true 11.1 while 7011 is 9.1 but capable of 11.1 decoding.

I'd guess they'll change that in a future model, but they probably figured most average consumers will not use both sub outputs.
