Marantz 4002 OSD on Samsung 1080p DLP

I can't get the receivers OSD to come up on the screen via component video. I have to hook up a composite from receiver to the TV in order for it to display. The TV does display a message about not acceptable format though. I wasn't sure if I should post this in the TV section or not but hope it's OK.

Not a Marantz expert here.
Many receivers do not do OSD thru component. My Yamaha doesn't.
