And I just got my system hooked up tonight!
Yeah, yeah...how could a dyed-in-the-wool audiophool let his "precious" languish that long? Well, sixty hour work weeks combined with frequent trips back to Sioux Falls to pick up more stuff for starters.
My rig is sounding pretty dreadful- I just plunked it down in the spot that seemed best, I don't even have a TV hooked up to it to access the menu of my '3806 (and I haven't been able to find the manual, either!). Still, it's sweet music to my ears, awful room modes and all.
I'll eventually get time to dial in the parametric EQ for my subs, as well as fine tune the placement, apply room treatment, etc. But for now it's a small victory just to have it wired up and rockin'!
