I am trying to configure a system (for a reasonable price) that will give me good sound for listening to music on my Mac. This will be in a home office that is approx 11 x 11. The WAF is a major influence on my choices, primarily I am being forced to forgo book shelf speakers and utilize in-wall.
So far I think I have decided on the:
Audengine N22 - AMP to hook my Mac directly via USB
and either
Aperion Intimus 6-IW or Axion M2 In-wall speakers.
Quesions:
- is the N22 a good option? I need something small that will be hidden in a cabinet - so from a size perspective it fits the bill perfectly
- Are my inwall choices good? Or with the N22 should I save the money and go with a Polk or off brand (HTD, MTX, Theatre Solutions, etc.)
- Any other suggestions?
