M&K V-75 II Needs a new veneer, suggestions on removing old?

So I got a hand me down MK V-75. The thing sounds great, looks like sheet. I checked out the veneers on Parts Express and found it to be pretty affordable. My father in-law is a wood worker too, and has tons of experience doing this kind of stuff, so doing it right wont be an issue.

I wonder what the best approach would be to removing the old laminate. There seems to be some bubbling in the corners, water damage type, but no soft spots. I need to make this look attractive or my wife wants it gone!!

Thanks folks!

You might want to try a hair dryer or heat gun to heat the glue up to remove it. I would post to the PE Tech Talk forum those guys will know what to do.
