Just need to vent...
I got my new HK AVR635via ups today. In great condition so i cannot complain. Well my parents asked me what i wanted for christmas, so i didnt really want anything, so they put some money towards the receiver. Get home after anticipating playing with it all day and even took off work tomorrow and my mom says i cannot have it till christmas. Although i am totally pissed i cannot play with my new toy, it is sorta a christmas present from them...not that big of a deal. So, i have all of my stuff out of my HT cabinet (for lack of a better term) and i am trying to hook back up these damn speaker wires that are a PITA. As i am doing this, all of a sudden here comes a shelf and BAMM, dents the top of my old pioneer 815 and puts a small crack in the top of the plastic faceplate. Its not bad, but noticable. The bad thing is i am trying to sell it to recoup some of the money i spent on this new receiver. So now i am too pissed to hook back up the old receiver, so i have no music, nor have i for 2 days, and i love listening to music. It is the only thing that makes me sleep at night b/c i am used to it from years of that. So i guess i might as well say F*** it and forget about selling the pioneer. I guess the new HK will have to go on the bottom shelf after all since the speaker cables are too short from the Direct TV guy F***ing with them when he installed my satellite. Not an easy fix. So now, i have to have that beautiful receiver down on the bottom out of view once again from my favorite listening posistion. I am going to for sure buy banana plugs now so i dont have to F*** with this stupid crap. Never fails, some stupid **** has to happen everytime i get something i want. Murphy's Law i suppose. Then i sit down to ***** on here and lean on my desk and the keyboard tray falls straight the F*** off. I am sure nobody gives a flying rats ***, but i feel better now...

im glad im not the only one feeling this ... :)

i feel like I never get anything easy, there has to be some snag somewhere, some obstacle or something.

I just tell myself: "easy come easy go"

thus, none of my stuff ever goes :)
