ZVOX makes a soundbar in the sub $300 range. I was curious about because I thought that might be a good solution for a bedroom TV. The only thing I don't like about it is that it says it has an internal 60 watt amplifier but the external power supply is limited to 24.5 watts and what is the point of that?
It requires an analog audio out from the TV to the soundbar. If looking for something like that I'd verify that the TV will convert any digital inputs (like HDMI) to analog for sending out the analog outs; otherwise all source devices would have to be connected to the TV via analog.
