I just received this fantastic box set of "Satchmo".. 10 cds, great book, prints of music sheets, and a very cool vintage looking suitcase/trumpet case that holds it all.. A must own! It was $150 from Amazon and I received it in 2 days!..

Cool. Armstrong has been forgotten pretty much these days but, in his day, he was great. I once heard a bunch of old 78's from way back when, before Armstrong became mostly an entertainment personality and he was a great player. His music is one of the roots of music that we enjoy now.

Funny that you mention Louis. I shot this photo 2 days ago of him spinning on my Empire 598. Love Louie... I saw BB King last weekened. He was awesome as well.
