I have an Onkyo HT-R2295 7.1 Receiver 80w per channel. right now I have an Onkyo (240w) Sub with 2 old school Fisher (120w) each speakers hooked to it (great bass). I am slowly trying to add to the system speaker by speaker. I have been looking at the Infinity Primus 143 and 163 bookshelf speakers. Which speaker is the better one? I want something that will handle the wattage that the receiver is putting out. And if there are other brands of speakers in this price range that are better Please let me know, thank you.

It's the other way around. Can your receiver handle the watts that your speakers will demand. Understanding Ohm's Law, Impedance And Electrical Phase 101 | Audioholics . the two infinity speakers mentioned will be voiced similar if not the same, difference being low extension
