Loud POP while resuming movie play.

I was watching "Live free or die hard" and paused moview for few. As soon as I hit Play button I hear a very loud POP. I checked each of my speakers and they all seem to be working fine. But that one pop keeps bothering me. I rewided the movie to make sure that it wasn't in the movie itself.
Any Ideas what could it be? What else do I need to check/make sure?

Do you have a sub? It sounds like the auto-on turned it back on after a long pause turned it off.

I do have a SUB (Velodyne DPS 10) which is always on. Does not have auto On/Off feature.

I have no idea then. Try to duplicate it.

I get a very low, but high pitched pop when I pause and start The Sopranos DVDs I rent from Netflix, I've tried to duplicate it with my own DVDs and it won't happen, yet pop in a Soprano DVD (from Netflix), press pause and as you press play again I hear a low, high pitched pop. It doesn't happen with any other DVDs. Go figure.

The damage you worry about is only limited to your imagination, sometimes things happen and cant really be explained...if it happens again I would worry but as of now it could have been anything from a chapter change, DTS trying to find a signal or any number of others things so dont worry..............yet.
