Lost video thanks to dumb azz button pusher need help!!

Ok I have been trying to trouble shoot my dennon 3808 ci all day...I lost video after my dumb azz drunk friend couldnt figure out how to play a cd and started randomly pushing buttons on the front of my amp. I have sound from the digital cable box but no video and nothing from my PS3....Everything is hdmi and set to auto detect...I cant figure it out at all...the hdmi cable to my panny projector is good cause I get the dennon logo up on the screen...I hate to have to pay a dam tech 200 bucks to figure this out..

I was just checking out the Troubleshooting section in the owners manual (starts on page 82).

On page 83, there are a few entries for "No picture appears" and "No picture appears with HDMI connections." The one that seems like the most probable is that your friend turned on the PURE DIRECT mode. If that's on, turn it off.
