Lost one analog channel out on my Sony BluRay player

I noticed yesterday that I lost the left channel analog out on my Sony BluRay Player. I moved the outputs to anothe rinput on the AVR and still got the same result. When I switched to bitstream, the left channel came back so I know its not the AVR. I used the analog outs to play CD. I was thinking of replacing this unit because of this issue but it makes no sense to do this. I'm simply moving the DtoA conversion to the AVR instead of using the player's DAC. I can live with that. It frees up an input on the AVR but now, I have to reprogram the Harmony remote. I can live with this.

Since analog stereo outputs are the only way to enjoy SACD, unless your AVR has HDMI input, you might want to fix it. But, might be a good excuse, if you need one, to buy a new Ultra player.

You changed inputs, but did you try another cable on the same output?

Seriously, I have no life.
You seem to be able to live with your option. How else can we help?;)
Just live with it. :D
