Thanks First // This Is All New To Me!!!!

I have 32" philips pfl5332d/37 and a lgd790 compact home theater system.
and dch6200 hd motorola charter cable box. I have tv connected to cable box with hdmi cable in hdmi 2(listed on tv menu). I now need to connect lgd790. I have a 2nd hdmi cable 3' I may need to swape for 6' or 9'(tight on room because of placement in entertaiment center/also suggestion on placement) and tv's hdmi 1 is availble. do I need to change connections with tv to hdmi 1 or is this ok? I'm lost !!!!!

thanks again,

I have no idea what an lgd790 is. You did not list your inputs and outputs.

Generally you connect all peripherals to the receiver, preferably with HDMI and then run one HDMI cable to the TV.
