If I connect a BD player that decodes DD True HD and DTS MA snd has multi-channel analog outputs to the multi-channel inputs of my receiver, will I be reproducing hi-rez sound processed by DD True HD or DTS MA, or will I be reproducing lossless PCM? If I will succeed only in obtaining lossless PCM, am I losing out on an audible major audio improvement?

The analog cables will pass whatever you set the player to decode. You will have to have the player level match and do bass management generally.

If your system is superior there is a definite and significant improvement decoding the new loss less codecs.
