I have a Samsung plasma TV hooked up to an Onkyo TX-SR308 A/V receiver using HDMI connections. The receiver is also connected to a Directv digital satellite box, Samsung Blu Ray player and a Panasonic recorder. While watching TV I lose A/V signal when the heat pump kicks on or a light switch is turned on. It does not happen all the time and signal loss varies from a black screen to picture distortion. I had the voltage checked in the outlets and there appears to be nothing abnormal. I have the components plugged into a HPD 650 Powercenter.
Back in the Spring of 2010, I lost the main HDMI panel on the TV along with a Directv satellite box. The Directv technician said it was lightening but I disagree. I currently use the 4th HDMI connection on the side of the set. I don't know if these are related

I'm not an expert on the issue, but It sound like you have voltage drop issue and to fix it you need ups. Not sure how to properly size UPS for you, but I do know you'd need to protect your entire A/V system for this to be useful.

Maybe this could be helpful:

I think you need an electrician. I suspect a severe problem at your panel, most likely a bad connection to the grid at the panel. Your observations may indicate a dangerous condition.

If you see any affect when you turn a light on or the heat pump kick in, you have a bad connection, somewhere. Lights flickering and dimming when appliances turn on is a symptom of problems.

If your power lines aren't buried, look at the cable splice where the drop to the meter box joins the power company's lines. If the connection was made a long time ago, it probably needs to be re-done. These connectors can corrode or loosen over time. One kind is just a plain metal crimp connector and the other is like a big butt splice with a viscous material that's supposed to keep the ends from going bad when one is aluminum and the other is copper. This can ooze out and become useless- it happened at my parents' house and once the power company re-made the connection, the problems stopped.

The NEC requires any communication cabling to be grounded at the service entrance. It could have been lightning and if the satellite feed wasn't grounded, it will try to find that path using anything available, like the receiver, satellite receiver or TV. Whether you have a Power Center makes no difference to the current trying to find a ground path. The fact that you lost the panel and DirecTV receiver at the same time tells me that something isn't grounded correctly or you may have a loose neutral.
