Looking to buy a subwoofer for under $200

can someone find me a good one? I have no idea what to buy.

Currently run Insignia 600watt 6.1 receiver. jbl surround sound speakers and Polk R50 fronts. ALso I dont have a center channel.... looking to buy one of those too for $150 or cheaper from amazon.com

Agreed. The x-sub is a great choice for $199. Unless you have a really large room in which case a Dayton from partexpress.com may give you more boom.

How come only from Amazon if I may ask?

The Velo VX-10 from vanns could do ya fine. Or if you can spend an extra $30 and get the Bic H-100 thats what I did and have not been dissapointed. Was deffinately worth the extra week wait.

That's not true! Amazon cares Dayton Audio.

That said, the x-sub is one of the very few good subwoofers for less than $200.

What size room is your system in? I bought the Velo VX-10 a few years back and while I do enjoy it's performance I now am wanting something bigger and better (perhaps that will never change).

I second the suggestion of saving up a bit more and getting something you will really like.

I for one am currently saving up for a DIY sub kit from Rythmik audio

And about your center channel, find a good deal on ebay for the Polk CSR center or save up a bit more for that as well. Buying a center from the same product line as your fronts would be ideal.
