Looking to add Bluetooth to Emotiva XMC-2

Hey Everyone,

Looking for some recommendations on a bluetooth receiver that can be added to my XMC-2. When I purchased the XMC-2 I also purchased Emotiva's add-on bluetooth receiver but it was buggy to say the least. I quickly returned it and have been in the market since.

My budget for this would ideally be around $100 as I do not listen to a ton of bluetooth but would like the ability to do so.

Any thoughts you can provide based on your equipment and experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

James

maybe ADTG :p;) will chime in, he a Expert on Emotiva gear. or is it he doesn’t believe in EMO gear can’t seem to remember anyways someone other than me will jump in to try and help. Oh don’t even ask Gene our leader less you get the hammer! :D He not like’um At All since his 2400 buck EMO amp is a boor stop now. But really just jump on Amazon and look up Bluetooth streamers and or receivers.

Seriously, I have no life.
I used a MICCUS BT receiver for a school gym audio system upgrade and t works great. $50 online. The range is far better than I had known about at the time and I was skeptical of their claims, but during the testing, I streamed from my iPhone to the receiver without dropouts- I counted the steps to return to the receiver in my garage and I had been 180 feet away.

Also depends a bit on what version your BT transmits with. I've used some of the $15-20 TaoTronics receivers in vehicles, and a bit on my garage system, worked fine. At home I tend to just stream over wifi, tho....is that not a consideration?
