Looking for sub recommendation

Hi all

Currently i am running two KRK VXT 6s to a DacMagic Via USB to my computer, mainly for music and some movies.

I am looking to add a subwoofer to the mix and currently looking for recommendations.

The room is fairly small, 14x12 at its largest point, budget is $450 CAD

Get a mini DSP, and an emotiva ultra sub 10" (sealed)

Thanks for the prompt reply, looks like a very nice sub from what i've been able to read about it.

One question why get a MiniDSP if i already have a DacMagic?

the mini DSP will give you control of equalization and crossover to your mains (rather than using the plate amp crossover). I guess it might double as a dac (i'm not sure) but in this scenario we're using it for EQ which is necessary for any decent subwoofer sound quality to integrate in a room properly. IT's not a knock on the emotiva sub, as it's a well designed sub and perfect for a small room, but a knock on the nature of bass.
