Looking for some speakers, need advice

Hi All,

I'm looking for a speaker package for my downstairs theater/living area. The ceiling is 8' high, and I have a spot for two speakers to hang back there for the surround sound. I'm looking for a set of "low profile" speakers that I can mount back there, that don't hang down too far. It seems every set of speakers I look at are designed to mount "up and down" which means they will hang down and look like crap. I didn't think it would be this hard to find some speakers like this.

Does anyone know of any good quality low profile speakers? Thanks.

It would really help to know what speakers you're using up front and are the side surrounds (5.1) or rear (7.1). You don't need an exact match the way you do with the front three but it's nice to not be glaringly different. Anyway one dirt cheap option (if you like bipolar speakers) are the Wharfedale WH-2 for $80/pr. I've used them and they're surprisingly good movie surround for the price. The form factor is a square wedge that looks pretty decent. User reviews
